Lougheed house - calgary - our way of giving back to the community
Lougheed House is an historic property, built by Senator James and Lady Isabella Lougheed in 1891, and now a National and Provincial Historic Site and Museum, located on the original site in Calgary's Beltline area. For the past few years, Kevin Gray Interiors have participated in an annual charity event held at Lougheed House, called 'Christmas All Through the House'. For this event, we furnish and style a room in a theme inspired by the Lougheed House Society. We use our relationships with suppliers to borrow or get donations of furniture, accessories and sometimes custom-made items with which to style the space., and we donate all of our time invested in the project at no charge. All funds raised by this event support educational programs which the Lougheed House Society presents each year, as well as other community charities such as Ronald McDonald House and others. Over the past few years we have had the pleasure of styling various rooms throughout the home, which are presented here on our website.
